The compatibility check also produces a text file that lists the possible problems. Click Save As,

type a file name, and then view the results of the compatibility check. For a sample log file with the

results of the compatibility check for this sample in-place upgrade, see Appendix B: Sample Log

File from Compatibility Check.

Starting the Upgrade

After resolving the issues uncovered by the compatibility check, it is time to start the upgrade.

After choosing Install Windows Server 2003, the following screen appears:
